I am also a group exercise instructor in yoga, Pilates, cardio and weight training. My job is to create the right exercise program for you to live a longer healthier life. After the birth of my fourth child I have realized the struggle with food and weight loss at a later age. Every person is unique and your exercise and food regiment should be as well. As a personal trainer, it is my goal to help my clients reach their full potential. I work one on one to provide you with a program that is fun, safe and practical. My past has been sports oriented even throughout my high school years. Playing tennis since I was 7 years old, I continued in my junior and senior years of high school. I made captain of my tennis team in 2001. My passion for personal training and nutrition started when I lost 35 pounds over the course of a year by finding the right balance between diet and exercise. Due to this I have a huge fascination in the science of weight loss and am working towards becoming a registered dietician by attending Bastyr University . In addition to my personal training, I teach speed and agility training for sports and athletics. With my combination of education, compassion, competitive drive, and love for a healthy lifestyle I look forward to helping you achieve your goals. |

I strive to give my clients functional exercise routines by concentrating on balance and core stability in order to get the most from their workout. In addition to personal training I am a parent of 3, which takes a lot of energy and time; exercise joined with healthy eating habits has not only enabled me to find the strength I need to be a successful parent, but it has also challenged me to push toward my goals of feeling better about my self image and creating time to do something I enjoy. My name is Colleen Hansford‐Rutherford. I am a proud wife and mother of 5 beautiful children and reside here in Lake Stevens, Washington. I discovered 14 years ago, that my desire and passion for exercise went beyond just “working out.” I wanted to help others and share my enthusiasm! Through these 14 years, I’ve had many challenges in maintaining my fitness goals along the way… 3 children, divorce, loss and relocation; can take its toll on any individual. However, I believe by choosing to stay active and strong, it helped me through those challenging times and for me the key factor and I believe it to be for everyone... was “working After 14 years, I am now a Certified Personal Trainer (woohoo!) and I believe that exercise in all forms, improves your quality of life on so many levels. Cheri Soraparu is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist holding a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and is a Personal Trainer certified with the American College of Sports Medicine.Cheri educates and coaches her clients to adopt positive lifestyle changes which encompass the entire person. Cheri believes that feeling and looking good is a combination of providing our mind with nourishing thoughts, fueling our body with healing foods, and moving our muscles. Cheri helps individuals reach their health and wellness goals utilizing whole foods, functional nutraceuticals, behavioral modification, positive psychology and physical activity. |

She works one on one with clients in office, over the phone and computer and in real life (shopping, cooking and exercising) for one to twelve months. Beginning with an intake session, she gathers information about the client’s health and lifestyle history, present concerns and aspirations and then determines where to begin and how to progress.

"Change is inevitable, Growth is intentional!" – Ryan Hi, my name is Ryan, I am a former business owner of 8 years in the construction industry and the proud father of two energetic little boys. I decided to pursue personal training as a careen for the simple reason that I wanted to help people find the happiness that I have found at Team Fitness. I realized that I needed a change in my lifestyle due to the stress of running a company, being a single father and living every day life. Being at the gym had really helped me in every aspect of life, mentally, physically and emotionally. I have developed a sense of happiness with myself, great self discipline and drive, and achieved greater self worth by exercising and learning a whole new lifestyle to create a better me. My goals as a Personal Trainer are to help every person that I work with feel comfortable and at home in our gym. I want to help my clients develop a customized workout routine that is challenging, but enjoyable, fits their individual needs and provides amazing results. l can develop versatile programs ranging from increases in strength and power to weight loss and injury recovery (rehabilitation) and prevention. I strive to help my clients understand proper technique, how to use the equipment in a safe and effective manner and to keep them motivated and inspired. |
